# Requirements

Before installing SXA, you must have the following:

- Sitecore Experience Platform 10.5 Initial Release.
- Sitecore PowerShell Extensions 8.0.

> If you deploy SXA to a CD environment, do not install Sitecore PowerShell Extensions.
