# Troubleshoot the Dynamics connector

This topic addresses a problem with DateTime values you might encounter when you use Sitecore Connect for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales (Dynamics).

<summary><h2>DateTime values for new contacts are not synchronized to Dynamics</h2></summary>

If you add new *DateTime* fields to a pipeline, the connector might not update the fields for new contacts in Dynamics.

The minimum date accepted by Dynamics is `1900-01-01T01:`00:00`.0000000Z`. However, the minimum date in xConnect is `0001-01-01 `00:00`:00.0000000`. When you create a new *DateTime* field without populating it with a specific value, xConnect uses the minimum date. Because the xConnect minimum date is before the Dynamics minimum date, Dynamics rejects the field.

To synchronize new DateTime fields to Dynamics, you must ensure that the synchronized value of the field is higher than the minimum date supported by Dynamics.
