# Application templates and samples

To provide a quick way to get started developing headless applications that use Sitecore data, the [Sitecore JavaScript Rendering SDK (JSS) initializer](https://doc.sitecore.com/xp/en/developers/hd/23/sitecore-headless-development/the-jss-app-initializer.html "The JSS app initializer") uses templates for officially supported JavaScript frameworks to scaffold applications.

Using the JSS initializer you can scaffold JSS application samples for the following JavaScript frameworks:

You can enrich sample applications with the help of add-ons, such as the `nextjs-styleguide` add-on.

You can also scaffold applications for headlessly server-side rendering React, Angular, and Vue.js JSS applications:
