Carousel

Abstract

This topic describes how to use the Carousel component in SPEAK.

A Carousel control shows images as a horizontal or a vertical strip. Users can move back and forth between the images by clicking left/right (or up/down) arrows.

To create the images that a Carousel control shows, you create a Carousel Time item for each image using the Carousel Tile template and then in the Source property of each Carousel Tile item, enter the Item ID of the Sitecore image that you want to show.

By convention, you create the tiles in a folder under PageSettings. You add the tiles to a Carousel control by pointing the Tiles property of the Carousel control to this folder. The Carousel control shows the tiles in the order that they appear in the folder, and it always shows all the tiles.
