# AI-assisted content generation

AI-assisted content generation helps jump-start your content creation process in the Experience Platform. Using the **Content Assistant**, you can create high-quality content directly in the [Content Editor](https://doc.sitecore.com/xp/en/users/102/sitecore-experience-platform/the-content-editor.html "The Content Editor") and the [Experience Editor](https://doc.sitecore.com/xp/en/users/102/sitecore-experience-platform/the-experience-editor.html "The Experience Editor").

AI-assisted content generation works in single-line, multiple-line, and rich-text fields. For example, in the Content Editor, supported fields display the **AI icon** :mdiCreation:.

![An example of a supported field in the Content Editor that displays the AI icon.](https://doc.sitecore.com/api/markdown-image/xp/en/users/102/sitecore-experience-platform/images/XP_AI_fields.png)

Clicking :mdiCreation: opens the **Content Assistant** dialog, where you can use the AI features to:

- [Generate new content](https://doc.sitecore.com/xp/en/users/102/sitecore-experience-platform/ai-assisted-content-generation.html#UUID-bdd7164a-725d-400c-9a30-4c7d782f0c44_section-idm234880266986074 "Generate new content")

## Apply a brand kit for creating on-brand content

> [!note]
> Brand kits are available only with Stream Premium. To learn more, contact your Account Manager.

Before you can use a [brand kit](https://doc.sitecore.com/stream/en/users/sitecore-stream/en/brand-kits.html) in Experience Platform, your organization must first create one in Sitecore Stream. Stream references the brand kit and draws on the information in the *Brand Context*, *Do's and Don'ts*, and *Tone of Voice* [sections](https://doc.sitecore.com/stream/en/users/sitecore-stream/en/brand-kits.html) to guide [content generation](urn:resource:component:1600792) that reflects your brand.

To apply a brand kit in Experience Platform:

- If you're using Stream DXP module version 1.0, use the [procedure to configure a brand kit](https://doc.sitecore.com/xp/en/users/102/sitecore-experience-platform/install-and-configure-sitecore-stream-for-platform-dxp.html#UUID-c682e11b-5877-7a04-f34a-cc0198a4fbe1_section-idm1703484912437430 "Configure brand kit integration") using your `organization ID` and `brand kit ID`.
- For later versions, follow the instructions below to apply a brand kit directly from the **Content Assistant** dialog.

After applying a brand kit, you can either enter a custom prompt or select a predefined one to generate on-brand content.
