View, edit, or delete a collection

A collection represents a marketing campaign and contains one or more designs. With collections, you make designs available for Document Publisher users. Once you have created a collection, you may want to monitor, edit, or delete your collection.

This topic outlines how to:

View a collection

You can monitor the progress and usage of your collection at any time.

To view the progress and usage of an existing collection:

  1. Click the collection and click View.

  2. In the Collection Details dashboard, you can view:

    • Designs usage – tells you how often a design in the collection is used by Document Publisher users. You can set the view to week, month, quarter, or year.

    • Collection designs – displays a list of the designs that are in the collection and how often they have been used. You can search the list by entering a search word. You can also filter the Collection designs list by selecting layout, resolution type, and export type in the Filters section.

Edit a collection

You can change the dates, designs, participants, and Sitecore items of a collection at any time.

To edit a collection:

  • In the All Collections or Active Collections panel, select the collection that you want to edit and in the panel that appears on the right, click Edit.

Alternatively, you can click the drop-down arrow and click Edit.

Now you can make the relevant changes to dates, designs, participants, and/or Sitecore items.

Delete a collection

Inevitably, you will need to delete collections from time to time. In the All Collections or Active Collections panel you can delete a collection.

Note

Deleting a collection can affect the documents that have been created with a design from that collection in the Document Publisher. After a collection is deleted, Document Publisher users may not be able to change the design or assign data.

To delete a collection:

  • In the All Collections or Active Collections panel, select the collection(s) that you want to delete, click the drop-down arrow, and click Delete.
