Duplicate a page

Current version: 10.3

In the Content Editor, you can create a new page by duplicating an existing page. When duplicating a page, you have the option of preventing subitems from being duplicated. This is convenient, for example, if the page has hundreds of subpages. You can only exclude subitems if the page is based on an SXA template.

Note

Data sources are always duplicated.

To duplicate a page:

  1. In the content tree, locate and select the page that you want to duplicate.

  2. On the Home tab, in the Operations group, click Duplicate. Alternatively, you can right-click the page and select Duplicate.

  3. In the dialog box, do one of the following:

    • To also copy the subitems, click Yes.

    • To only copy the selected page, click No.

The duplicated page appears on the same level in the content tree as the original page. You can always move it to a different location.
