Using alternatives to Sitecore Media Library

  1. Log in to the Sitecore Content Editor with user credentials that have the appropriate permissions to edit the core database.

  2. Navigate to /sitecore/client/Applications/MerchandisingManager/Settings/System/CommerceImages-Parameters.

  3. Set the baseURL field to the absolute root URL of your media assets. For example, http://www.myserver.com/media/images/.

  4. Save your changes.
