Enable content testing without a workflow

You can start a component or personalization test without putting it through a workflow. This might be useful if your organization does not use workflows to approve tests for your website.

To allow for starting a test without a workflow:

• In the Sitecore.ContentTesting.config file, change the ContentTesting.AlwaysShowTestCandidateNotification setting from false to true.

Now the Create a test link will appear when you create new component variants on a page.
