What's new in Content SDK 1.1

Content SDK for Angular 1.1 introduces llms.txt support, page metadata and Open Graph tags, and Schema.org and JSON-LD rendering. It also adds a CLI command for listing experimental features, and fixes for editing layouts and shared client functionality.

To update your existing Content SDK for Angular 1.0 application to 1.1:

  1. In your existing application's package.json file, update @sitecore-content-sdk/angular to version ^1.1.0:

    "@sitecore-content-sdk/angular": "^1.1.0"

    You must also update the following package to the version specified:

    Package

    Version

    @sitecore-content-sdk/cli

    ^2.4.0

    Note

    Content SDK packages use independent versioning. Not all packages have the same version number.

  2. Install the dependencies with the following command:

    npm install
  3. If your app relies on Sitecore stylesheet links, configure CSDK_PUBLIC_SITECORE_EDGE_CONTEXT_ID. Stylesheet URLs now use the public client context ID rather than the server context ID.

Review the Content SDK release page for a complete list of changes for Angular version 1.1.
