Cache configuration and tuning is key to improving the performance of the Content Delivery and Content Management environments. After configuring initial cache values according to Sitecore's recommendations, we recommend that you:

Use the cache administration page to tune cache values.

Tune initial prefetch cache values to balance application start time and the time taken to process incoming requests.

As your solution grows, consider enabling cache key indexing.
Depending on the availability of memory, you can choose to disable cache size limits. You can also create a cache as needed.
