Deployment options

You can deploy the Sitecore Experience Platform to physical servers or virtual machines, or to Azure PaaS. There are several preconfigured topologies available.

Sitecore on-premise (IaaS)

You can use the Sitecore Installation Framework to install Sitecore on physical servers or virtual machines. For more information about the Sitecore Installation Framework, refer to the Installation Guide for your specific release of the platform.

Web deploy packages and environment configuration files are available for download on the release page of your specific version of the Sitecore Experience Platform, in the Downloads Center

Sitecore on Azure App Service (PaaS)

Azure Marketplace

You can deploy any default topology directly from the Azure Marketplace.

Sitecore Azure Toolkit

You can use the Sitecore Azure Toolkit to deploy the Sitecore Experience Platform to Microsoft Azure yourself. For more information, refer to the following documentation:

Managed Cloud

Sitecore Managed Cloud is a cloud-based hosting service provided by Sitecore, and includes support for XM, XP, or xDB environments.
