Extended xConnect logging

The extended xConnect logging feature provides the ability to get additional information about xConnect internal functioning, particularly during the debugging process.
It introduces the following improvements:
- Extends the SQL level logging
- Extends the logging of xConnect operations
- Logs queries sent to Solr, both from a search service and an indexer.
- Logs HTTP requests received by xConnect
- Detailed information about timeout errors.
- Logs retries of the
SetFacetOperationmethod to decrease the number ofSitecore.XConnect.Operations.FacetOperationExceptionexceptions. - Track requests from Sitecore to xConnect.
Important
When you have enabled the extended xConnect logging feature, the size of log files can grow dramatically. It can affect the overall xConnect performance and slow it down. We recommend that you configure the maximum size of log files to avoid slow xConnect performance.
