This table lists the use, value(s), and description of the attributes of the Format element.
| Attribute | Use | Values | Description |
| Bold | Implied | True False | Using bold text will display your text in a thicker font making one or more words really stand out from the rest. |
| Italic | Implied | True False | The italics font style slants the text to the right. |
| Underline | Implied | True False | Underlining can also be used to place special emphasis on one or more words. |
| Superscript | Implied | True False | Text in superscript is raised above the preceding text and is displayed in a smaller font. |

| Track | Implied | [-10, 100] | Enables you to loosen or tighten the spacing between the characters in selected text. |
| LSpacing | Implied | [-100,500] | Sets the letter spacing in units of the current font size. |
| Skew | Implied | [-85, 85] | Slants the vertical axis of the text. |
| BLShift | Implied | [-5000, 5000] | To move a selected character up or down relative to the baseline of the surrounding text. |
| Leading | Implied | [0,5000] | Enables you to set the vertical space between lines. |
| HScale | Implied | [0.01,10] | Enables you to scale horizontally. |
| VScale | Implied | [0.01,10] | Enables you to scale vertically. |
| Strike | Implied | True False | Strikes through the text. |

| FontSize | Implied | Number [0.1, 1296] | Determines the text size. |
