xConnect integration in SXA

Parts of the SXA functionality only works if xConnect is enabled in your environment. For example, tracking in the Layout Service or navigating to the previously visited page using the Link component.
The sxaxm configuration role determines whether SXA has been installed in XM or XP. This information is required to enable integration with xConnect only when SXA has been installed on top of an instance of XP. The resolving logic is located in the post-installation step.
sxaxm has the following two values:
