Remove an item from a custom catalog

You can remove an inherited item from a custom catalog by creating an exclusion rule.
After opening Merchandising Manager via Launchpad on the login screen:

Select the custom catalog you want to add an exclude rule to.

Click the Rules tab, then click Exclusion Rule.

In the new window, select the item you want to apply the exclude rule to.

Click Save.

Rebuild the custom catalog to apply the new exclude rule.
