Multi-tiered assignments enable customized buyer experiences at the individual user level. The Me resource simplifies access to this personalized data.

Easy access to inherited or personal data

The Me Resource flattens assignments for the authenticated user, providing direct access to available resources regardless of assignment level.

Example: A buyer user with addresses assigned at both buyer and usergroup levels can access all addresses through a single me/addresses call, eliminating manual resolution across multiple levels.

Personal resource management

The Me resource provides:

  • Administrative endpoints for personal resources
  • Private access to credit cards and addresses
  • Data privacy from administrators (except through impersonation)

This design ensures secure management of personal information while maintaining user privacy.
