Prerequisites

Check that you have the following before getting started:

React 19 if you're using the Search JS SDK for React v3.0.0 or later.

These versions are fully compatible with React 19 and are required for seamless integration with other Sitecore SDKs such as Content SDK and JSS 22.7.0 and higher.
React 18 or earlier if you're using the Search JS SDK for React versions earlier than v3.0.0.
Node.js 16 or later. Check your installed version by using the node --version command.
