Inventory service

The Inventory service is provided by the Sitecore.Commerce.Plugin.Inventory plugin.
Additional functionality is provided by the Sitecore.Commerce.Plugin.Backorderable plugin, the Sitecore.Commerce.Plugin.Preorderable plugin, and the Sitecore.Commerce.Plugin.Orders.DelayedAvailability plugin.
The Commerce Inventory system is organized around inventory sets. You can use an inventory set as a traditional inventory catalog (i.e., as the single source of inventory for a site), or you can use multiple inventory sets – for example, one for each store.
Inventory status for individual items (e.g., available quantity, pre-orderability) is stored within the sellable item as a component.
