Task event

This topic describes how tasks with the subtype task from Salesforce are mapped to events in Sitecore.

Format in Salesforce

In Salesforce, a contact can be associated with multiple tasks. Each task is a separate object that is linked to the contact.

Note

Only completed tasks are read from Salesforce.

Format in Sitecore

In Sitecore, task details are stored in an event. The event is associated with an interaction. The following interaction facet is used to identify that the interaction came from Salesforce:

The following event type is used to store event details:

Mapping values

You must have separate mappings for the interaction facet and the event.
