Promotions benefits
Benefits are the possible discounts you select to apply to a promotion. Benefits are applied to a customer's order when it meets the qualification conditions for the promotion. You can apply multiple benefits to one promotion.
To exclude a sellable item from promotion benefits, on the promotion page, in the Items section, click the plus (+) sign and, in the Add dialog box, select a catalog, click the Excluded Item Id check box, and enter the Item Id.
You can apply the following benefit adjustments to a shopping cart:

Get Cart Any Item Subtotal [specific] Amount Off: A discount of a defined monetary amount off of any item in the customer’s shopping cart.

Get Cart Any Item Subtotal [specific] Percent Off: A discount of a defined percentage off any item in the customer’s shopping cart.

Get Cart Item in Category [specific] Amount Off: A discount of a defined monetary amount off any item from the specified category in the customer's shopping cart. The discount applies only to items directly beneath the parent category and applies even when the item exists in multiple categories. When there are multiple items from the specified category in the cart, the discount is applied to each item.
NoteIf you define the same promotion benefit for two categories, the promotion is applied only to products that belong to both categories.

Get Cart Item in Category [specific] Percent Off: A discount of a defined percentage off any item from the specified category in the customer's shopping cart. The discount applies only to items directly beneath the parent category and applies even when the item exists in multiple categories. When there are multiple items from the specified category in the cart, the discount is applied to each item.
NoteIf you define the same promotion benefit for two categories, the promotion is applied only to products that belong to both categories.

Get Cart Subtotal [specific] Amount Off: A discount of a defined monetary amount off the subtotal of the customer’s shopping cart.

Get Cart Subtotal [specific] Percent Off.: A discount of a defined percentage off the subtotal of the customer’s shopping cart.
Sitecore XC does not support applying line item benefits by using cart subtotal qualifications.
You can apply the following benefit adjustment to the shipping cost:

Get Free Shipping: A discount that is equal to the shipping cost of the order. This discount is calculated when the customer goes through the checkout process.
