View a portal asset's details page

Note

To configure Content Hub, you must either be a superuser or have the necessary permissions granted to you through user group policies.

A portal asset's details page displays properties and other metadata about the asset, including its filename, title, and description. This page also provides access to localizations for the portal asset, based on the available portal languages.

The portal asset's details page contains the following sections.

This section contains the filename and title, which you can edit.

This section contains editable system properties, including:

This section contains the file history. If there is more than one file associated with the asset, you can do the following to any of them except the master file:

  • Master icon Set the file as the master.

  • Download icon Download the original file.

  • Show full screen icon See a full-screen view of the portal asset.

  • Comments icon Add annotations.

  • Public link icon Create a public link.

  • Use direct link icon Use a direct link.

To view a portal asset's details page:

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage Manage icon.

  2. On the Manage page, click Portal assets.

  3. On the Portal assets page, on the portal asset's tile, click View details page info icon

  4. To upload a new version of a portal asset, on the menu bar, click Upload upload icon and select one of the following:

    • Upload new version - to upload another version of the portal asset.

    • Upload alternative thumbnail - to upload a thumbnail version of the portal asset.

  5. To create a public link for a portal asset, click More actions More Actions icon and then click Public links.

  6. To preview the master version of a portal asset, click Preview preview icon.

Important

If you send a direct link to a user who is not authorized to view the portal asset, they will see an authorization error message if they try to access it.
