View the project asset details page

In Sitecore Content Hub, each asset has a details page, but the page content depends on where the asset is used. Assets in the DAM have a details page focused on standard asset metadata. Assets used in projects have a project asset details page that includes project context, such as workflow status, localization, reviews, and usage in project work.

Use the project asset details page when you need to understand not only what the asset is, but also how it is progressing through project stages and where it is being used. From this page, you can view:

  • Asset details, such as the asset ID, filename, and locale.

  • Asset file history.

  • Projects, stages, or jobs where the asset is used.

  • Project, stages, or jobs where the asset is used as an attachment or in a task.

  • Operations available for the asset, such as download, share, delete, and so on.

To view a project asset details page, on the menu bar, click Project > Projects and then click the project containing the asset you want more information on.

Note

Details pages are configurable, so the components, properties, relations, and definitions shown on the page depend on your implementation. This topic does not explain how to edit every property. Instead, it provides an overview of the elements you can edit on a project asset details page.

The default project asset details page generally contains the following sections:

Section

Description

Media viewer

Shows a rendition of the asset. If no preview is available, the media viewer displays a generic asset type icon. Beneath the media viewer, there are status badges (for example, NEW or PUBLISHED IN DAM). There can also be icons to indicate that duplicates or other versions exist.

Information

History pane that displays all file versions. The master version is the version currently in use.

Content

Displays details about the asset, such as its filename, title, and locale.

Localized from

Displays localized variants of the asset created using a task, job, or quick action.

Localized to

Displays localized variants of the asset created using a task, job, or quick action.

Version history

Displays previously uploaded asset files. The master file is not included in the version history list.

Local reviews

Reviews for content items with the lifecycle status project-specific or job-specific. Local reviews are completed by one person. If the asset is added to multiple projects, it can have a different lifecycle status in each.

Parallel reviews

Parallel reviews that involve more than one individual who each set the item status independently. With parallel reviews, the lifecycle status is a global one, so that even if the asset is added to multiple projects, it can only have one lifecycle status.

Used as content

Lists the project, stage, or job where the asset is used.

Used as attachment

Lists the projects or stages where the asset is attached.

Used in tasks

Lists all tasks where the asset is used.
