Change your Sitecore password

Important

If you log in to the Sitecore Cloud Portal using single sign-on (SSO), you can only change your password through your identity provider.

If you log in to the Sitecore Cloud Portal using the default Sitecore authentication, you can change your Sitecore password from the Sitecore Cloud Portal. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it from the login page.

To change your Sitecore password:

  1. Log in to the Sitecore Cloud Portal, and on the top-right corner of the menu bar, click your profile picture, then click Manage account.

  2. On your account page, click Reset password. Sitecore will send a password reset email to the email address associated with your account.

  3. Go to the email and click Set a new password.

    If you didn't receive an email, check your junk or spam folder.

  4. In the New password field and the Re-enter new password field, enter the password you want, then click Reset password.

    Note

    Your password must be at least eight characters and contain:

    • Uppercase letters (A-Z), lowercase letters (a-z), and numbers (0-9).

    • Non-alphanumeric characters such as ! @ # $ % ^ & *.

    • No personal data.
