Enable HTTPS for Content Search

Applies to	All core roles
Sitecore Installation Framework	HTTPS (for Solr) is not enabled by default.
Azure Toolkit	HTTPS (for Azure Search) is not enabled by default.

If you are using the Solr or the Azure Search provider for Content Search, make sure that you are using HTTPS. For more information, see the following documentation:
