For IIS/Azure app service tuning, following these guidelines.

  • On-Premise environments should configure application pool recycling to off-peak hours.
  • For Azure PaaS:
    • Ensure ARR Affinity is enabled for CM apps and disabled for CD apps.
    • Choose an appropriate App Service Plan SKU (Standard or Premium recommended for production).
