Add a component to a page in Horizon

Version: 10.1

You can add a component to a page in the Horizon editor. Depending on the configuration of the page, there are different positions where you can insert a component:

  • In an empty placeholder

  • Before or after a component that is already on the page

To add a component to a page:

  1. Open the page in the page editor.

  2. Click the Components tab in the left-hand panel.

The Components panel displays the renderings that are compatible with the placeholders on the page.

  3. Select the component that you want to add to the page, and drag it to the place on the page where you want to add it.

As you drag the component, the cursor changes to a “prohibited” icon to indicate that you cannot add the component in the current position.
