Upload a file to the Media Library

Current version: 10.1

In the Media Library, there are two different methods to upload your media files:

  • Upload file – use this option to upload a single file.

  • Upload files (advanced) – use this option to upload multiple files or to apply upload options. For example, you can upload a Zip archive or overwrite duplicates.

Media files that you upload to the Media Library are not versionable by default. If a media file is versionable, a new version of the media item is created automatically every time you edit it. This enables you to revert back to an older version of an item after you edit the item. To make a media file versionable, you can use the Upload files (advanced) option.
