Experience Platform includes AI-enabled features that enhance content creation and project management. These are among the many AI capabilities embedded across Sitecore products, helping teams accelerate content production and optimize marketing operations.

AI-assisted content generation

AI-assisted content generation in the Experience Platform is powered by the content copilot. This Content Assistant is embedded within the platform to assist users in generating and optimizing content in single-line, multiple-line, and rich-text fields. Supported fields display the AI icon .

You can generate new text or refine existing content directly in the Content Editor and the Experience Editor. With features like manual and predefined prompts, multiple variants creation, and brand kit selection, users can easily improve writing, fix grammar, adjust tone, and create on-brand content.

AI-assisted item translation

AI-assisted item translation helps you translate text defined within a Sitecore item including single-line, multiple-line and rich text fields. The Translation Assistant allows you to choose which fields to include or exclude in the translation. The translated fields are inserted directly into the item.

AI-assisted page translation

AI-assisted page translation helps you translate an entire page in the Content Editor and the Experience Editor using AI. The Page Translation Assistant automatically identifies all items referenced on the page and translates them together, helping you localize faster and minimize manual work.

AI-assisted tree translation

AI-assisted tree translation helps you translate an entire content tree including the parent item and all its descendants using AI. The Tree Translation Assistant automatically identifies all items in the content tree and translates them together in a single operation, helping you localize large content structures more efficiently.

AI-assisted content extraction

AI-assisted content extraction lets you turn raw input—text, documents, or images—into fully structured content. Based on your selected template and (optionally) brand kit, Stream automatically creates a new item with content mapped into editable fields.

You can access the Content Extraction feature directly from the context menu in the Content Editor and generate new items automatically—no manual formatting or item-creation steps required.

AI-assisted media metadata extraction

AI-assisted media metadata extraction uses AI to analyze image items in the Media Library and suggest metadata values. This feature automatically generates suggestions for fields such as title, alt text, description, and keywords, helping users enrich image items instantly for better searchability and accessibility.

You can extract metadata directly in the Content Editor. Users can refine the values manually, restart extraction with a different brand kit, or accept the values to populate the fields automatically.

Note

Projects is available with the Stream Free tier, while Assistant and Brand kits require a Stream Premium subscription. To learn more, contact your Account Manager.

If your organization uses the Stream Free tier, the two Premium features will appear disabled in the Sitecore Launchpad.

Projects

The Projects feature in agentic workflows enables teams in the Experience Platform to collaborate effectively. It provides a centralized workspace where users can create and manage projects, edit project details, add team members, organize deliverables, and assign tasks. These orchestration capabilities help streamline content development and coordination across teams.

To access, click Projects in the Stream section of the Sitecore Launchpad. This will open the Sitecore Cloud Portal, where you might be prompted to log in. When you are logged in, you are redirected to the Projects page, where you can get started with planning and setting up a project.

Assistant

Creating consistent, on-brand content is essential for maintaining a strong brand identity. The Brand Assistant helps content creators in the Experience Platform stay aligned with brand guidelines by providing AI-powered support throughout the authoring process.

The Brand Assistant is a brand copilot that lets you interact with your brand knowledge and brand kit using natural language to access brand guidelines, ask brand-related questions, request text or visual recommendations, and generate on-brand content efficiently.

To access, click Assistant in the Stream section of the Sitecore Launchpad. This will open the Sitecore Cloud Portal, where you might be prompted to log in. When you are logged in, you are redirected to the Assistant page. To proceed, select the appropriate brand kit before asking your marketing and brand-specific questions.

Brand kits

Note

Brand kits are available only with Stream Premium. To learn more, contact your Account Manager.

To use Brand Assistant for content creation in the Experience Platform, you must first create a brand kit.

A brand kit helps guide AI tools to generate content that aligns with your brand. It includes your brand knowledge, which is created by uploading brand documents to Stream. Through brand ingestion, the AI processes these documents and organizes them into knowledge chunks that form your brand knowledge database. This knowledge is also used to generate the sections of your brand kit.

To access, click Brand Kits in the Stream section of the Sitecore Launchpad. This will open the Sitecore Cloud Portal, where you might be prompted to log in. When you are logged in, you are redirected to the Brand kits page, where you can set up a new brand kit or view existing ones.
