Organize email campaigns into groups
To organize email campaigns, you use campaign groups, which are part of the Taxonomies defined in the Marketing Control Panel. A taxonomy is a classification scheme that lets you better organize information. For email campaigns, you use campaign groups, which are part of the Taxonomies defined in the Marketing Control Panel, to organize email campaigns.

Grouping email campaigns is beneficial not only from an organizational standpoint but also because it enables you to generate meaningful report data on a specific group of campaigns.
Create a campaign group
When you create a marketing taxonomy and when you add tags to a taxonomy, you must deploy the taxonomy in order for aggregation and reporting to work correctly in a scaled setup. Experience Analytics reports are built on data from the reporting database and, therefore, taxonomies and definitions must be present in the reporting database for data to be shown accurately. When you deploy a marketing definition or taxonomy, Sitecore creates a corresponding record in the reporting database.
