Functionality

The Functionality section lets you turn on any of the following search features.

Note

When Relation editor or Mass edit preview is selected for Usage, some functionalities are unavailable.

Name	Description
Usage	Page - The search component will be rendered on a page. Relation editor - The search component will not be rendered, but its filter properties will be used by a relation editor component. Mass edit preview - The search component will render the content of the selection pool that is specified by the page URL. Appears only on a Mass edit page.
Full-text search	Enables full-text search behavior.
Visual search	Enables visual search behavior.
Track state	Enables saving of filters on the search page so they are still set when a user returns to the page.
Language selector	Provides a language selector.
Refresh button	Provides a refresh result button.
Sticky search bar and facets	When enabled, you can scroll through a list of facets independent of the search results. This is useful when you have a long list of facets or a long list of search results. If you have enabled Infinite scroll on the Paging tab, we recommend that you also enable the sticky search bar and facets. Note When enabled, the table header in the table view won't be sticky.
My searches	Enables the saved search feature.
My selections	Enables creation of personal collections.
Manual relation sort	Enables manual sorting of the results. Requires a fixed filter be set, and Allow navigation enabled for the relation. Only available in list and table views.
Show view selector	Provides a view selector to switch between output displays. Requires at least two output views to be set.
Permissions	Lazy-load permissions for operations - Lazy loads the permissions required to use operations. Cannot be used with the Ignore permissions for operations feature. Ignore permissions for operations - Ignores the default security check that only displays an operation if a user has the required permissions to use it. Pre-load permission - Default behavior, pre-loads permissions.
