Use input data in a decision table
Overview of how to use input data in decision tables (Sitecore Personalize).
Sitecore Personalize enables you to use guest, order, and session attributes as input in a decision table. For example, you might want to leverage guest attributes such as age, order data, and segment membership when writing rules.
To use input data in a decision table:
Click and drag the appropriate Input Data component from the Palette to the Decision Canvas.
Click and drag the Guest component to use attributes from the following Sitecore Personalize entities:
Personal guest attributes
Guest subscription attributes
Guest data extensions
Click and drag the Orders component to use attributes from the following Sitecore Personalize entities:
Guest orders
Guest order items
Guest orders contact
Guest orders consumers
Click and drag the Sessions component to use attributes from the following Sitecore Personalize entities:
Session data
Event data
Click the arrow icon next to the Input component.
Click on the input component arrow and drag it to the reliant decision table. An information requirement arrow displays. The following image illustrates that the Loyalty Discount decision table relies on Order History input data.
Configure the input columns in the reliant decision table to use the required attributes from the input data.
