Serialization plugin

Abstract

Overview of the serialization plugin for the DevEx CLI.

The Sitecore CLI Serialization plugin serializes, shares, and deploys content items, and keeps them in version control.

From version 4.0.0 and later, the plugin adds support for:

  • Role serialization.

  • Specifying publishing targets when pushing serialized items to the Sitecore instance.

  • Specifying excluded fields.
