View usage statistics using the app

In Content Hub ONE, if the size of the schema reaches the allowed upper limits, it can affect performance. This topic describes what you can do to reduce the size of the schema and how you can view the usage details in the app. You can view usage statistics using the Content Hub ONE app if you have the necessary permissions, or you can use the API.

Reducing the size of the schema

The schema size increases as the number and complexity of content types, taxonomies, and references go up.

To reduce the size of the schema:

  • Keep the number of content types defined to the minimum required.

  • Reduce the number of content items and media items.

  • Delete any unused content types, content items, and media items.

  • Minimize the number of taxonomies you use.

  • Limit the number of reference fields in an individual content type. When defining reference fields for a content type, use the Allowed content type setting to limit the number of content types to only specific ones. Use the All content types setting sparingly.

The Usage page provides details about the schema size.
