Create a content type using AI

You can quickly create a content type that models the structure of your data using AI. This makes it easy to design and build content models. You start with a prompt that describes the structure and purpose of the content type. For example, Generate a content type for bed and breakfast establishments, including the name, a short description, a selection list of available amenities, and related day trips. This creates the following content type.

If the content type isn't quite what you want, you can add more details to the prompt and generate a new content type or modify the content type by adding, removing, or moving fields. For example, with a more detailed prompt, such as Generate a content type for bed and breakfast establishments, including the name, a short description, a selection list of available amenities, related day trips, and a description of the theme nights, including specialty gourmet meals, the content type is updated with new fields.

Tip

You can expand the Start with AI input field by clicking in the bottom-right corner.

When you have the content type you want, you can use it to create content items. You can add draft text to the content items using the AI content generator and refine it using the AI writer.

To create a content type with AI:

  1. On the menu bar, click Content model > Content types.

  2. On the Content types page, click Create content type.

  3. In the Create content type dialog, in the Name field, enter a name for the content type. By default, the ID is created using the name. Optionally, enter a different ID if required.

  10. When you are happy with the content type, click Save.
