When dealing with a large number of results, Sitecore Content Hub uses two APIs:

We highly recommend using the SearchAfter API for the pagination of a large number of results to avoid impacting performance. The working mechanisms of the Scroll API and the SearchAfter API are different but, in terms of pagination, the two APIs are very similar. While the Scroll API is currently supported, it is slated to be deprecated in a future release. When this happens, notice of the deprecation will be published in the Content Hub changelog and a dedicated email notification will be sent through the SaaS Ops channel before the API is retired.
