Customize the order of facets in a search results widget

Visitors use facets in results to filter products in a search widget. Facet data is received in the default order configured in the Customer Engagement Console (CEC). The facets ordering rule applies as long as a site visitor context rule does not restrict it.

To customize the order of facets in a search results widget:

  1. In the CEC, on the menu bar, click Widgets.

  2. On the Widgets tab, click the search results widget you want to open.

  3. On the Widget Variations tab, click the variation you want to open.

  4. On the Rules tab, click Add Rule.

  5. On the menu bar, click Settings.

  6. On the Facets tab, turn on the Enable Configuration switch.

  7. To reorder the facets, drag them up or down.

  8. Click Save.

  9. Click Publish.
