Copying entities between tenants

Sitecore Personalize simplifies the process of replicating your work across different tenants with the Copy to tenant feature. This allows you to to quickly copy entities, such as Developer Center and Library entities, from one tenant to another, saving time and reducing the risk of errors that can occur with manual copying and pasting.

This feature is useful when you need to reuse an existing entity in a different tenant without starting from scratch. For example, after developing and testing a new custom condition in a non-production environment, you can accurately and securely copy it to a production environment with just a few clicks.

You can copy the following entities to any destination tenant that you have access to in the same region:

  • Web templates

  • Conditions

  • Decision templates

  • JS modules

  • Connections

  • Offers

  • Offer templates

  • Points of sale

When copying any entity from a source tenant, you can either use the copy as-is or modify it in the destination tenant as needed, without affecting the original entity.

To use this feature, you must have the appropriate role within your organization. Team members with a User, Developer, or Admin role in Sitecore Cloud Portal can copy entities between tenants.
