Monitor performance
The Analytics page contains many reports that help you monitor your Search implementation. These reports provide insights into overall performance and, for tabular reports, let you drill down to see details about your widgets, keywords, documents, and sources.
Sitecore Search tracks visitor actions platform-wide, from pages to widgets, and search keywords, provided that you have integrated event calls across your site in all the places you would like to track visitor interactions. These actions generate the analytics reports.
All report data is refreshed daily at 4:00 AM UTC with events tracked the previous day.
Understanding the data behind the reports
An integration using Search JS SDK for React populates most events. The accuracy of the reports depends on event tracking so developers must make sure that all events are tracked when integrating using Search JS Data package, Search JS SDK, or Search APIs.
Tracked events and metrics include searches, visits, views, clicks, and conversions. Following a multi-touch attribution model, Search attributes the metrics to user interactions, yielding a variety of data rich metrics and key performance indicators (KPI).
Making the most of your reports
Each report dashboard contains multiple interactive tables and visualizations, such as line, pie, and funnel charts. They provide business intelligence on all aspects of your implementation.
You can use and interact with your reports and data in various ways, such as:
-
Changing data to regenerate reports.
-
Viewing different full-screen reports that use the same data set.
-
Examining the data behind reports.
-
Saving a data configuration as a customized report.
-
Sharing reports with others.
-
Scheduling delivery of reports by email.
