Update an installed app

When the app developer makes certain configuration changes to an installed custom or public app, the app status changes to Update required. An organization admin or owner must update an app in this status to receive the latest configuration changes.

To update an installed Marketplace app in your organization:

1. In the Cloud Portal, for the app you want to update, click My apps > Update.
2. In the Update installation options modal, depending on the app configuration:
   • If the app uses a SitecoreAI extension point or has access to SitecoreAI APIs, or both, in the App availability modal, select at least one environment where you want to update the app.
   • Review any permissions required by the app.
3. To confirm your choice, click Update.
