Configure information sources

The in uses information sources to generate responses. You can independently configure which sources the accesses for general queries, brainstorming, and brief generation.

By default, both knowledge search and web search are selected, allowing the to draw from both your brand knowledge and web sources to produce comprehensive and relevant responses.

Important

The information sources you select here is applied globally across all chats and brand kits.

To configure the information sources:

  1. In the navigation menu, click Strategy. Then, in the left sidebar, select Assistant.

  2. In the top-left corner of the chat interface, click Tool configuration .

    The Assistant configuration dialog opens with options to customize how the generates responses.

  3. On the General tab, both knowledge search and web search are selected by default for all features: General queries, Brainstorming, and Brief.

    Use the General tab on the Assistant Configuration dialog to select the information sources.

    For each section, select the information sources you want the to use. You must select at least one information source in each section:

    • Web search - the searches the web for current information and trends. Disable this if you want responses based only on your brand knowledge.

    • Knowledge search - the accesses your brand knowledge. Disable this to use only web-based information.

  4. Your changes are saved automatically. Click Close to exit the Assistant configuration dialog.
