Tools available to chats and agents

You can control which tools are available to chats and agents when they generate a response. When a tool is turned off, it is not available to the chat or agent and is not available in the Chat interface. The following tables lists available tools.

Inspect and update Sitecore and the Agentic Studio context through the virtual filesystem. By default, this switch is turned off. When you turn it on, you can retrieve information about your Agentic Studio instance and update Agentic studio agents. You can, for example, update the Bulk Content Generator so that it includes a new chatbot channel option and you can do this directly from the Chat.

Context Retrieval

Retrieve brand knowledge, guidelines, and enrichment context.

Image Generation

Generate images from text descriptions.

Save Artifacts

Allow the agent to save and version content artifacts.

Web Search

Search the web for real-time information.
