Troubleshoot agents

When using workflow agents, issues can sometimes arise, for example:

  • The agent isn't using the right context. Verify the selected context, items, brand kit, and parameters.

  • Artifact is missing or incomplete. Open the run details and inspect the agent steps, inputs, and outputs.

By reproducing and examining each step in the process, you can quickly fix any issues.

Note

You cannot debug standard agents.

To troubleshoot workflow agents:

  1. In the navigation menu, click Agentic.

  2. In the sidebar, click Agents.

  3. On the Agents page, for the agent you want to debug, click Actions >Edit.

  4. Click the Workflow tab and then click Run.

    This displays the run with details of the execution including the steps and context. For each step, you can see the inputs and outputs with detailed information about the process.
