Manage decision table inputs and rules
Use the personalization dialog to manage the decision table that controls component personalization behavior.
Duplicate a personalization rule
Duplicate an existing personalization rule to create a copy that you can modify without changing the original.
To duplicate a personalization rule:

In the personalization dialog, on the Builder tab, locate the row of the rule you want to duplicate.

Click Duplicate row.
The duplicated rule is added directly below the original row.
Reorder personalization rules
Personalization rules are evaluated in the order they appear in the decision table. The first matching rule is applied. Reorder rules to change their evaluation priority.
To reorder personalization rules:

In the personalization dialog, on the Builder tab, locate the row of the rule you want to reorder.

Click and hold the reorder icon
, then drag the rule up or down to change its position
Fill empty cells with a default value
If some cells in the decision table are empty, you can automatically populate them with a default value to ensure consistent rule behavior.
To fill empty cells with a default value:

In the personalization dialog, on the Builder tab, locate the input column you want to update.

Click the horizontal ellipsis icon
> Fill empty cells with default value.
Delete an input column
Delete input columns that are no longer needed in the decision table. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
To delete an input column:

In the personalization dialog, on the Builder tab, locate the input column you want to delete.

Hover over the column, then click the horizontal ellipsis icon
> Delete.
Delete a personalization rule
Delete personalization rules that are no longer needed in the decision table. This action permanently removes the rule and cannot be undone.
To delete an input column:

In the personalization dialog, on the Builder tab, locate the row of the rule you want to delete.

Click the horizontal ellipsis icon
> Delete row.
Delete the decision table
Delete the entire decision table if you no longer want to use component personalization for the component. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
To delete the decision table:

In the personalization dialog, in the upper right corner, click the horizontal ellipsis icon
> Delete. -
In the confirmation dialog, click Delete.
