View domain history
If you have an Admin or TechAdmin role, you can use the Version History feature to see which users have made domain-level changes to your account.
-
If changes were made to Administration > General Settings, you can see exactly which features were changed.
-
If changes were made to any other tab in Administration, you can see that a change was made, but you won't be able to view details.
To view domain history:
-
In Sitecore Search, on the menu bar, click Administration, then Domain Settings.
-
In the General Settings tab, click Version History. On the left, you see a list of versions that your domain has gone through. Sitecore Search creates a version each time a user updates a setting in Administration and publishes their changes.
-
To see changes between a version and the previous one, click a version and then, at the top, click Show difference.
Note-
In the Domain Information section, in red, you can see the incremented version ID, the UTC date this version was created, and the user who created this version. For example, you might see VERSION 18, LAST MODIFIED 30 minutes ago, and MODIFIED BY John Doe.
-
If a version was created because of a change in Administration > General Settings, you'll see the change, in red, in one of the Version History sections.
