Work with custom reports

Abstract

Use widgets to monitor data in a custom report.

Sitecore Send lets you create custom reports to help you monitor the most important data for you. You can add widgets to your report. After you set up your widgets, you can always rearrange or filter them inside your report, delete them, or add new ones. This topic describes how to create a custom report and how to export data from custom reports.

To create a custom report:

  1. On your Sitecore Send dashboard, click Reports, Custom Reports.

  2. Click New custom report.

  3. Enter a name and click Save.

  4. Use the left panel categories to navigate to the widget that you want to add and click Add. Alternatively, click Add on your custom report's layout and then click the widget that you want to add.

  5. Click Save.

    Your custom report is now ready for use. You can also choose to duplicate, print, save as a template, share, export, filter by date, and change the layout.

To export data from a custom report:

  1. On your Sitecore Send dashboard, click Reports, Custom Reports.

  2. Click the report you want to export data from. On the widget, click ThreeVerticalDots.png, and click Export Data.

    A pop-up message appears at the top of your page notifying you that your export is in progress and that, when finished, it will be sent to your team member's email address.

To share a custom report:

  1. On your Sitecore Send dashboard, click Reports, Custom Reports.

  2. Click the report you want to share. In the top-right corner, click ThreeVerticalDots.png, and click Share.

  3. In the Sharing Settings dialog box, set Make this item public to On.

    Warning

    Anyone with access to the link, can see the statistics of the shared custom report.
