Work with the subscription form template library

Sitecore Send comes with prebuilt templates for subscription forms. During subscription form creation, you will be automatically redirected to the template library, where you have the option to edit the design of a prebuilt template.

Create a subscription form design by editing a template

Sitecore Send lets you select a prebuilt subscription template as a starting point for creating your design. Instead of doing it from scratch, you can choose a template that aligns with your email marketing needs.

To create a subscription form design by editing a template:

  1. Create a new subscription form.

  2. In the left menu, click Design and then click Start designing.

  3. View the available subscription templates in the Template library.

  4. To check the design of a template, click Preview template.

  5. To select a template and use it to create your design, click Use Template.

  6. Click OK when the following message displays: Are you sure you want to set this template as a form?

  7. In the subscription form editor, edit your design by editing the layout, editing items, or adjusting the general settings.

  8. When you are finished with your design, in the top-right corner, click  On the confirmation pop-up message, click Yes.

    You will be redirected to the Set Visibility Settings page of subscription form creation.

Save a subscription form design as a template

Any design you are working on in the subscription form editor can be saved as a new template. This allows you to access the saved template and reuse it in future subscription forms .

To save a subscription form design as a template:

  1. In the , subscription form editor, edit your design by editing the layout, editing items, or adjusting the general settings.

  2. To save your design as a new template, in the top-right corner, click the Proceed to Next Step drop-down menu and click Save as Template.

  3. In the Save as template dialog, enter a name for your template and click Save.

    Your saved template is added to the Template library. You can use it for your future designs.

  4. To add your saved template to your favorites, click .

  5. To remove a saved template from the template library, click and then click Delete.

Duplicate a template

Duplicate Campaign and Landing Page templates to speed up creation and ensure consistency across designs. Duplicated templates are saved as custom templates and can be edited independently of the original.

  1. On the menu bar, click More > Templates.

  2. Select Campaigns or Landing Pages.

  3. Locate a system or custom template.

  4. Click

  5. Select Duplicate.

  6. Enter the new name for your template.

  7. Click Save.
