Data availability in Sitecore CDP
To ensure efficient performance, Sitecore CDP has data availability durations on the data you can use in batch segmentation, data lake exports, and audience exports.

The following table shows how long Sitecore CDP retains guest profiles. The time durations apply to the guest profile itself, and not the data within it.
For example, if the guest type is customer, Sitecore CDP retains the guest profile for an indefinite amount of time. This means you could still view John Doe's guest profile after several years but if the data inside the guest profile exceeds data or time limits, it will not be available.
Here are the data retention durations for guest profiles:
Guest type |
Retention duration |
---|---|
Guests with |
There isn't a limitation for how long Sitecore CDP retains a guest with customer as the guest type. These are site visitors who have passed your organization's identity rules. |
Guests with |
Guests with visitor as the guest type are retained for 6 months from the last date they were active. These are site visitors that aren't identified. |
Data retention limits are per tenant.
