Traffic Report

Abstract

Describes the Traffic Report dashboard in Sitecore CDP.

The Traffic Report dashboard shows site traffic analytics. It provides an overview of trends in traffic and behavior metrics of site visitors (such as the first page visited and top pages). If you are tracking site traffic using Urchin Traffic Monitors (UTMs), the report also shows various UTM metrics. The Traffic Report shows data for the past 7 days.

Session traffic reports show trends in site traffic and the trends in traffic this week, compared to the previous week.

Session traffic summary metrics
  • Customers - shows the number of guests with a Customer type who visited the site over the past 7 days. The Trending number shows a comparison between this week's data and last week's.

  • Visitors - shows the number of guests with a Visitor type who visited the site over the past 7 days. The Trending number shows a comparison between this week's data and last week's.

  • Average time on site - shows the average time guests spent on the site, in minutes and seconds (mm:ss). The Trending number shows a comparison between this week's data and last week's.

  • Sessions - shows the total number of sessions over the past 7 days, calculated by counting view events. The Trending number shows a comparison between this week's data and last week's.

  • Bounce rate - shows the percentage of sessions that viewed only one page and left the site, of the total number of sessions. The Trending number shows a comparison between this week's data and last week's.

Visitors vs. views

The Visitors vs. Views chart shows the numbers of visitors and views over the past 7 days. The scale for number of views is on the left, and for number of visitors is on the right.

  • Click Visitors or Views in the graph legend to hide them.

  • Hover your mouse over a data point to view its data.

  • Significant divergence between the graphs might indicate bot activity. View the suspected bot activity report to investigate further.

This section of the Traffic Report dashboard shows metrics related to page views and events captured during the past 7 days.
