Create a media item

You can use Content Hub ONE to manage a central repository of media assets (such as logos, banner images, photos, and documents). After you upload a media file, it becomes a media item in Content Hub ONE and is added to the Media page. You can then use it in the content you create.

Each media item is assigned a unique ID, which cannot be changed, and a status that describes the position of the item in the publishing flow. You can see the ID along with the file name, file size, and other pertinent information in the details pane on the right of the Media page.

The following formats are supported:

  • Spreadsheet (.csv, .xls and .xlsx)

  • Document (.doc, .docx, .txt, and .rtf)

  • Image (.gif, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .tif, .tiff, .svg, .eps, and webp)

  • PDF (.pdf)

  • Presentation (.ppt and .pptx)

Note

For a full list of fields, parameters, and technical limitations, see the data model.
